ASUS has registered the biggest increase in advertising awareness in Indonesia for the month of May 2022, of all the brands we track in the market. Data from YouGov BrandIndex, which tracks consumer perceptions toward brands on a daily basis worldwide, shows that Ad Awareness of the hardware manufacturer saw an uplift of six percentage points over the four-week period.
In early May, the computer and electronics company launched its ROG Zephyrus M16 gaming laptop in Indonesia. Targeted at both gamers and content creators, the Zephyrus M16 is equipped with ROG Nebula Display – a TÜV Rheinland-certified and Pantone-validated screen technology that offers ultra-fast response times of less than three milliseconds – and MUX switch support which allows the GPU to send frames directly to the display for reduced screen latency.
ASUS also recently announced the global launch of its latest line of ultra-portable Zenbook S laptops, although its availability in Indonesia has yet to confirmed. Separately, the company has also been working with social media influencers, such as Ario Pratomo (@Sheggario), to promote its products.
According to data from YouGov BrandIndex, ASUS’ Ad Awareness score rose from 18.2 on 26 April to 24.2 by 23 May. Ad Awareness is a BrandIndex metric that measures the percentage of people who have seen adverts from a particular brand in the previous two weeks.
Additionally, paracetamol brand Panadol recorded a 4.6-point spike in Ad Awareness from 17.0 on 26 April to 21.6 by 23 May, while competing brand Paramex saw its Ad Awareness climb 3.2 percentage points from 15.6 to 18.8 over the same period.
